Riders of all levels are welcome at the 2024 AusCycling Cyclo-cross State Championships and final race of the Hobart Wheelers Dirt Devils CX series.
- Cyclo-cross
The 2024 AusCycling Cyclo-cross State Championships in Tasmania coincides with the final round of the Hobart Wheelers Dirt Devils Cyclo-cross Series.
Riders of all levels on CX, gravel, or mountain bikes are welcome to join us for a fun-filled day of racing, prizes, and crowning of state champions.
There's a Come and Try ride before the main event too aimed at kids aged 4 to 11, and anyone who wants a go on the course.
Entries are open until Friday 9 August at 2:59pm. All entries must be made online. No entries will be accepted on the day.
About the Race
Cyclo-cross racing involves multiple laps of a short, non-technical, mixed terrain circuit with riders completing as many laps as possible in 45 minutes. Cyclo-cross is less technical than traditional Cross-Country MTB Racing and has the addition of sections of track where participants need to dismount and run with their bikes.
