The BikeChain J19 National Road Series bridges the gap between junior and elite road cycling. Running since 2019 and open to Junior 19 the series gives riders the chance to compete across road race, individual time trial and criterium in 3 events and is a great platform to showcase and develop the next generation of Australian road cycling champions.

Regulations

The BikeChain J19 National Road Series is run in accordance with the AusCycling Technical Regulations.

Equipment Restrictions

Time trial bikes are not allowed, but clip-on handlebars are permitted.

Eligibility Criteria

All riders must hold a current AusCycling Race All Discipline Membership and eligible to compete as a Junior 19 Men and Women (those turning 17-18 years of age by December 31 2024).

Ranking Points

After the conclusion of the Series the Champion will be awarded to the individual who has the highest points. If there is a tie, riders will be equally ranked.

5.1  Series Points System

Overall Series

The winner is ranked based on total points in the series.  Ties will not be broken (I.e. multiple individuals may claim the same final position).
