The AusCycling Regional Commissaire course equips aspiring officials with the advanced knowledge and skills to manage events at the state and territory level. This course focuses on the technical aspects of each discipline. You can choose to become accredited in one or more disciplines.

Visit the AusCycling Learning Centre to enrol in the Regional Commissaire course for your chosen discipline.
Course Requirements:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Hold a current AusCycling membership (minimum Non-Riding membership)
- Possess a Working with Children Check. Visit Play by The Rules to understand Child Safe requirements in each State and Territory.
- If you’re taking the Regional Commissaire (BMX), you must have completed the BMX Club Official course.
- Complete the Australian Sports Commission Community Officiating Essential Skills course through the AusCycling Learning Centre.

- Enrol in the online eLearning module
- Complete the discipline-specific online eLearning module
- Attend a practical assessment (Road, Track and BMX only)
Additional Information
- Practical assessments vary per discipline:
- For Road & Track, one practical assessment is required
- For BMX, two practical assessments are required
- There are no practical assessments required for Mountain Biking and Cyclo-cross
- If you’ve previously completed the Regional Commissaire course, you can add a new discipline by taking the online eLearning modules and practical components specific to that discipline.
