Unlock your club’s jersey on Zwift via AusCycling national series

Mar 24, 2022

The winner of this year’s AusCycling National Club Cycling Esports Series will receive an in-game version of their club kit to use on Zwift, AusCycling has revealed today.

The exclusive prize was announced alongside course details for the first half of the series, which begins on Zwift’s “R.G.V” route on April 21.

The 2022 AusCycling National Club Cycling Esports Series will see Australia’s cycling clubs vie for the top of the national leaderboard in weekly scratch races across categories A–D.

AusCycling had previously announced two separate series, but these have been consolidated into a single 12-round competition with the grand prize at stake.

The series typically rewards clubs with well-rounded teams of men and women across all categories. Waratah Masters Cycling Club and Vikings Cycling Club (ACT) won the series in 2021.

For the first time, Zwift will create a digital version of the winning club’s jersey, which members will be able to wear with pride when riding on the platform.

Besides a small handful of clubs whose kit designs were created in the early years of Zwift, there is currently no other way to wear your club’s kit within the game.

The unique prize is the latest development in AusCycling’s partnership with Zwift in providing sanctioned online racing for its clubs and members.

Entries for the series are now open. Registrations for Round 1 close on April 18. To enter, visit the National Club Cycling Esports Series page.
