Round 2 results: Club Esports Series

The Vikings Cycling Club have extended their lead in the 2025 AusCycling National Club Esports Series with emphatic back-to-back wins across the opening two rounds.

With no segment points up for grabs, all eyes were on crossing the finish line first to claim maximum points when riders took to the line of California’s Area 52 route.

While some rolled the dice and attacked off the front to go for a solo victory, others conserved their energy and waited until the final few hundred metres to drop the watts and unleash their maximum power for stage glory.

The Vikings Cycling Club again finished at the top of the ladder after race 2 amassing 429 points across multiple categories, with Waratah Masters again slotting into second with 268 points and Port Adelaide Cycling Club rounding out the podium with 168 points in third. The Vikings extend their lead to 8 points heading into race 3.

This Thursday June 26 we head to UCI Stage 1 for a heart-pumping points race made for track riders.

Expect relentless attacks during this 20.4-kilometre race as riders fight for points on each of the 12 short and sharp laps.

Points will be awarded to the first 20 riders on each lap, plus finish line points.
