Round 1 results: Club Esports Series
Jun 16, 2025

The 2025 AusCycling National Club Esports Series has started with a bang as riders took on a challenging race on the Australian Cities route.
The fireworks started early at the 5.5 kilometre mark when the race hit the steep 1.9km climb. Attacks off the front broke up the peloton.
But those dropped off the back still had a chance to collect all-important fastest-through-time points on offer at the Harbour Bridge Sprint 17km into the race.

The Vikings Cycling Club have taken the early lead in the series, amassing 340 points over the 6 different grades.
The points were close at the pointy end, with last year’s winning club, Waratah Masters accumulating 311 points across the grades in second, and Port Adelaide Cycling Club rounding out the podium with 286 points in third. The Vikings now have a 4 point lead heading into race 2.

The series continues this Thursday, June 19 with a road race in California’s Area 52. With no official segments, it’s about finish line points only.
