Race for your club this month in the Club National Esports Series

Sep 8, 2021

Back by popular demand, AusCycling is partnering with Zwift to present Series 2 of the AusCycling Club National Esports Series.

From next Wednesday, you’ll be able to race six weekly rounds spanning all kinds of virtual terrain and represent your real-world club as you and your teammates compete to become Australia’s top cycling esports club.

The September/October series will feature four grades (A, B, C and D) and separate races for men and women. Results in D Grade are worth as much as those in A Grade, so every rider plays an important part.

Performances in A Grade may also be considered as part of AusCycling’s selection criteria for the UCI Cycling Esports World Championships.

To participate in the Club National Esports Series, you’ll need to be a member of an AusCycling club in the under-15 age category or above. Ask your club to register you.

Later this year, AusCycling and Zwift will also be hosting a first-of-its kind, member-only virtual stage race, where riders will have the chance to unlock an exclusive in-game Australian jersey. Stay tuned for announcements about that.

Whether you’re stuck in lockdown or just excited to represent your club, join the fun! Contact your club to register for Series 2 of the AusCycling Club National Esports Series now.
