Overall CX National Series winners confirmed

Sep 4, 2024

The overall winners have been confirmed for the 2024 Cyclo-cross National Series.

Twenty-eight categories were contested across the seven rounds which were held in Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane and Ballarat.

In the elite men, Tristan Nash’s five wins from the seven races put him 73 points clear of Nicholas Smith who finished second with Domenic Paolilli in third.

The Midland Cycle Club member ensured the trave from Western Australia was worthwhile as he took his very first National Series title.

While for Fiona Morris, the Alpine Cycling Club also would stand top of the overall rankings in the elite women for the first time.

Two wins and four podiums would help put her clear of Katherine Hosking and Miranda Griffiths.

There would be more success for Alpine Cycling Club members with Campbell McConnell the overall winner in the junior men.

Campbell McConnell completed a perfect season in the junior men category.

The Victorian will join junior women’s winner Alicia Reynolds at the UCI CX training camp in Agile, Switzerland next month.

Reynolds, from the Midland Cycling Club in Western Australia   finished with a commanding gap to the rest of the field.
