West Australian Alicia Reynolds (Midland CC) and Victoria's Hayden Vimpani (Blackburn CC) have won the elite AusCycling Cyclo-cross National Series after the final round in Ballarat on Sunday.
Reynolds won the Round 7 women's race ahead of Milana Freer to shoot to the top of the leaderboard, overtaking three riders who finished in a three-way tie for second place.
"I've really enjoyed doing the CX over the years and it's good to come away with the win," Reynolds said.
"It means a lot to me. The women are really strong in the CX field at the moment."
The 18-year-old Perth rider represented the ARA Australian Cycling Team at the UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships earlier this year. She plans to return to Europe this winter, targeting some UCI World Cup races.

In the men's race, Nicholas Smith (Southern Highlands CC) earned his second victory of the series, while Vimpani's second place was enough to secure the overall win despite slipping and crashing on the last lap.
"Nick is very, very consistent to try and follow, so it made it made it difficult," Vimpani said. "But it was a very good race, very enjoyable course."
Vimpani dominated the 2026 series, winning the first three rounds and never finishing lower than third in any race. He also won the under-23 men's national championship on Saturday in Ballarat.
"I'm definitely very happy with how the off-road season's gone so far," the Melburnian said. "I'll be looking forward to doing the road season and next year's cyclo-cross season."
