Number plates, presentations and jerseys
Number plates
Championship riders competing in the Oceania BMX Racing Championships will be issued a race plate. All Challenge riders must bring their own race plate for Oceania Championships and National Series.
Presentations
At the Oceania Championships, a formal presentation ceremony will be held for UCI Championship categories only (elite, U23 and junior elite). Challenge and Masters categories will receive their awards over the finish line.
For National Series, Challenge, Masters and Superclass categories will receive their awards over the finish line.
Jerseys - Oceania Championships only:
The Oceania Cycling Confederation and UCI have provided an exemption to section 6.1.083 of the UCI Regulations – BMX, allowing riders not to wear their national jersey for this event. National champion sleeve jerseys will only be recognised for the respective Championship categories as per UCI regulation 6.1.084.
For clarity, Challenge riders will not be permitted to use a jersey with a distinctive sleeve.
In accordance with section 6.1.097 of the UCI Regulations - BMX Racing, only elite riders who received a UCI international elite number through the UCI or elite riders with a world number 1–8, may print a UCI international elite number or world number 1–8 on the back of the jersey if they choose.
The UCI international elite number is not to be applied at any other location or onto any other item of clothing or safety equipment such as the pants or helmet.
No other riders (including Challenge and Masters categories) are allowed to print a number on the back of their jersey. However, for avoidance of doubt, all riders are allowed to print their surname across the shoulder on the back of their jersey.
Spectator access, site map and parking
Spectators are welcome to access the venue from 2pm on Friday to set up in the allocated spectator areas shown on the site map. No bookings are required, but all tents must be appropriately weighted for safety. At the end of Saturday's racing, all tents must be collapsed and weighted.
