CX National Series dates confirmed
Feb 2, 2021
The first weekend of June welcomes the start of the 2021 AusCycling Cyclo-Cross National Series.
Four rounds will have riders again out of their saddles and hoisting the bike on their shoulders as they tackle the tough and technical courses that make up the CX series.
With a proud history of hosting multiple national CX events, the Port Adelaide Cycling Club will again open the season, as they did in 2019, the last time a full CX National Series was held.
Riders will then get a temperature reprieve as they set their compass north a fortnight later, to a venue which has become one of the favourite stops on the CX series.
The D’Aguilar Range CC will again transform Baden Powell Park, Samford into a super cross venue.
July will see VOGA Cycling Club re-establish themselves as part of the cyclo-cross national series after hosting two events in 2019 at the Creswick venue.
The final round stays in Victoria and heads to Broadford, with the Sunbury Cycling Club prominent in producing a punishing course to push riders to their limits in the chase to be crowned series winner.
