AusCycling Club Esports Series returns, adds para-cycling

Apr 9, 2024

The popular AusCycling National Club Cycling Esports Series is back – now with para-cycling.

From April to August, AusCycling and Zwift will conduct a six-round series to determine which is Australia’s best all-round esports club.

For the first time, the 2024 series will include para-cycling results. Para-cyclists will race according to their ZwiftPower category (as has always been the case), but AusCycling will recognise an additional set of results according to their para-cycling classification.

The series, which is exclusive to AusCycling-affiliated clubs, begins next Thursday, April 18 with a race on Downtown Titans.

Each race will be filled with FAL (first across the line) and FTS (fastest timed segment) sprints and climbs, where you can earn points towards your club’s tally.

We’ll have a round-by-round guide out shortly, but until then, put these dates in your diary:

  • Round 1 - 7.30pm AEST, Thursday 18th April
  • Round 2 - 7.30pm AEST, Thursday 2nd May
  • Round 3 - 7.30pm AEST, Thursday 16th May
  • Round 4 - 7.30pm AEST, Thursday 4th July
  • Round 5 - 7.30pm AEST, Thursday 18th July
  • Round 6 - 7.30pm AEST, Thursday 1st August

Clubs should register for the series by completing the form at the series page by April 17. If you’re keen to join the action, contact your club’s team manager to register.
