2026 National Cyclo-cross Calendar announced as Perth returns, Canberra debuts and Ballarat goes big

Australia’s cyclo-cross community can start counting down the days to another action-packed season, with AusCycling confirming the full 2026 Cyclo-cross National Series and Championship calendar.

The seven-round series will travel coast to coast before finishing with the 2026 AusCycling National Championships in Ballarat, marking the finale to a busy season.

The 2026 season opens in Perth, returning to Western Australia for the first time since 2023 as national series points go on the line.

From there, the series heads to Canberra for its long-awaited debut as a National Series host, a milestone moment for the ACT’s growing CX scene.

Brisbane’s double-round weekend in July promises midwinter intensity and close racing before the series rolls south to Ballarat for a huge Victorian finish, with the National Series overall champion crowned.

The city will host both the final round of the National Series and the AusCycling Cyclo-cross National Championships, the final year of a three-year deal.

The championships weekend will bring together riders of all ages and abilities, with juniors, masters and elite competitors battling for the green and gold jerseys.
