After 19 months between AusCycling Pump Track National Championships, the 2025 champions were crowned today at Kirkham Park Pump Track in Camden, New South Wales.
Sunday's program, held after the 2025 GWM BMX Racing National Championships, started under conditions seen throughout the week in Camden – sun and blue skies.
After working through age-group qualifying, the weather began to turn as masters riders set their fastest seeding times.
When it was time for the elite groups, wind gusts had increased even more and with rain a certainty, a decision was made by the officials that qualifying would determine the final results.
Josh Jolly laid down a heater 13.875 time early in the elite men's session, with Cam Gatt nearly bumping Jolly off the top in the dying seconds via a 13.934, which was his only time after crashing into the barriers minutes earlier.
Ben Emeleus was impressive in the bronze medal slot, recording a best time of 14.686.
Two-time and reigning world champion Sabina Košárková from Czechia dominated the elite women's event, posting a time of 15.142, 2.492 seconds faster than new national champion Zalia Monkley in second, and 2.754 faster than bronze medallist Cassie Voysey.
Courtesy of winning the elite events, Jolly and Košárková have now locked in their tickets to the Velosolutions 2026 UCI Pump Track World Championships, with the day doubling as the Australian Qualifier.
