StLukes Challenge Event - Round 2
Enjoy a casual introduction to Gravity Enduro with the StLukes Challenge Event, part of the Tasmania Gravity Enduro Series.

This year's Tas Gravity Enduro Series includes the StLukes Health Challenge Events.
This year introduces 'Jam' format racing, designed to enhance the fun factor for all participants and offer a casual and enjoyable introduction to Gravity Enduro.
The Challenge Event features a combination of untimed uphill transfers and timed downhill stages. And all timed stages are rated green (beginner) or blue (intermediate) catering to a wide range of riders. Most participants can complete the course within two hours.

About the Event
The second StLukes Challenge Event will take place on Saturday 18 January in Queenstown. It's taking place as part of the 2024/25 Tasmania Gravity Enduro Series.

Membership Requirements
All entrants must hold a current, valid AusCycling Race Off Road or Race All Discipline Membership.
Entrants who have not held an AusCycling membership or taken part in a four week free trial within the last two years can access our Four Week Free Trial.

Other Requirements
A full-face helmet is mandatory for all participants and must be worn throughout the event, including transfer stages. Knee pads, glasses or goggles, full-finger gloves, and elbow-length sleeves are strongly recommended. Juniors (U17) must have elbows covered, either with long sleeves or elbow pads. Knee protection, full-finger gloves, fully enclosed footwear, and protective eyewear as per AusCycling regulations are also required for juniors. Failure to meet these safety requirements will result in disqualification.
A well-maintained mountain bike with functional front and rear brakes, bar ends, and front suspension is essential. A dropper seat post and rear suspension can enhance comfort on timed stages but are not mandatory.
Carrying spares such as tubes, a bike pump, food, and water is highly recommended.
