2024 NSW/ACT Country Track Series

The NSW/ACT Country Track Series is an initiative of the participating Cycle Clubs to promote and encourage senior (U19, Elite and Masters) riders to race the fantastic country carnivals across NSW and the ACT during the early part of the track season.

Each carnival is to be held on an outdoor track and will include A Grade to D Grade and Women’s only grades, depending on entries.

Age Categories & Eligibility

J9, J11, J13, J15, J17, J19, U23, Elite, Masters

All entrants must hold a current, valid AusCycling Race All Discipline Membership.

The Program

The carnival will be split into a Junior Carnival and a Senior Carnival

Junior Carnival

9.00am - Gates open and registration

9.30am - Track open for warm up

10.30am - Racing start

Senior Carnival

12.00pm - Registration

1.00pm - Track open for warm up

2.00pm - Racing start

Both Carnivals will include:

- Graded Scratch races (Junior age categories | Seniors A/B/C/D)

- 1000-meter handicaps - qualifier for Wheelrace (Junior age categories | Seniors A/B/C/D)

- Merv McDonald Memorial Handicap Wheelrace - Finals (Juniors)

- Derek Aisbitt Memorial Wheelrace - Finals (Seniors, including a women's Final with the same prize money)

- Motor paced Graded Scratch races (Junior age categories | Seniors A/B/C/D)
