Join us for the 2024 Tassie Thunder, proudly presented by Launceston BMX Club, on Sunday 8 September.

Entries are now open until Sunday 25 August at 11:59pm AEST.

Eligibility

All entrants must hold a current, valid AusCycling Race Off Road or Race All Discipline Membership.

Categories

Superclass (Male & Female ): 16+
Junior Superclass (Male & Female): 14-16
Masters (Male & Female): 30+
Challenge - Standard 20” (Male & Female): 8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+
Challenge - Cruiser 24” (Male & Female): 8-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+
Sprockets (Combined Boys and Girls): 2-5, 6, 7
Mini Wheelers (Combined Boys and Girls): 2-7

Awards and Prize Money

There's a total $5400 prize pool for Superclass, Junior Superclass and Masters (1st to 3rd place).

Awards and prizes will be based on categories raced on the day (merged).

In order for a category to be held, at least 3 riders must be registered in that category. If there are less than 3 competitors, they will be merged to the next available class.

Superclass and Junior Superclass categories will receive their prize money via EFT as soon as is reasonably practical following the event. Competitors are to provide their bank details to the club via email

All Sprockets and Mini Wheelers riders will receive a participation award.
