Push your limits on the national stage. Six rounds. Three weekends. Your next challenge.

This season brings six rounds of national-level cross country racing across three of Australia's most iconic venues – Lysterfield MTB Park in Victoria, Mt Stromlo MTB Park in the ACT and Hidden Vale Adventure Park in Queensland. From the high-intensity action of XCC short track to the tactical, demanding battles of XCO, every weekend gives riders the chance to test themselves against the best in the country.

Every point counts on the road to becoming a Series Champion. The battle for the title will build across all six rounds before the 2027 Series Finale at Hidden Vale Adventure Park. This season will also feature two UCI continental series rounds with riders going head to head to earn UCI points on home soil at Mt Stromlo, Canberra.

What are the rules and regulations?
What is the difference between Cross Country (XC) & Cross Country Short Track (XCC)?

Cross Country (XC)

XC or XCO stands for Cross Country Olympic and is the only mountain biking discipline that is currently in the Olympic games. XC is a combination of climbing and descending. Combining technical climbs with rapid sharp descents and longer flowing sections of trail. XC is raced in a lap format with average race times between 30 minutes and an hour. The course is between 4km and 6km and is often staged around a race village.

Cross Country Short Track (XCC)

Short Track or XCC is a quick, technical and snappy race with a shortened course length and race time. Riders will often take to a shorter course with sharp climbs and quick descents with passing opportunities readily available throughout the course. XCC races take between 15 and 30 minutes and often make use of sections of the XCO course to follow the next day.
