National BMX Racing Series

The National BMX Racing Series is the sport’s highest-level series and is critical to development pathways and driving participation. The series is open to all age groups from eight and over and gives riders the chance to compete across Challenge (20”), Challenge Cruiser, Masters, Junior Superclass and Superclass categories across six rounds.
The individual series events also feature participation categories for Sprockets and Mini Wheelers.

Series Qualification
To qualify for the 2024 AusCycling BMX Racing National Series, riders must compete in a minimum of four of the six rounds.
Eligibility Criteria
All riders must hold a current AusCycling Race Off Road or Race All Discipline Membership.
To be eligible for National Series points, riders must enter their actual age and gender category.
If eligible, riders may enter in Superclass, Junior Superclass or Masters, and qualify for points in those categories.
Ranking Points
National Series points will be calculated by adding the highest attained points from each round, based on the overall finishing place (rank) within each round.
Riders’ best four results will be used to determine the overall placing for the series.
The AusCycling BMX National Series points will be awarded based on the overall finishing place within each round, in accordance with the table below:

The Mighty 11s is an international BMX competition between Australia and New Zealand. There are two (2) events each year, one held in Australia at the selected National Series round and the other in New Zealand at their North Island Titles
