Gravel Male Athlete of the Year 2025

Brendan Johnston had an exceptional year both on home soil and abroad racing his third season in the United States of America.  Setting the tone for 2025, the Canberran kicked off his year in Australia with a win at RADL GRVL.  

He went on take back-to-back victories at UCI Gravel World Series events Devil’s Cardigan and Gravelista, and finished third at the Gravel National Championships. Overseas, he showed his consistency to be fighting at the front of some of the biggest gravel races in the world. He finished fifth in Sea Otter Lifetime Gravel and Unbound Gravel – both part of the Lifetime Grand Prix – and won the Salty Lizard and finished eighth at Lauf Gravel Worlds.
