AusCycling welcomes new awards partner

AusCycling is pleased to announce it has chosen Badges And Medals as its official awards supplier for the next three years.

 The collaboration kicked off with custom-made awards for the GMW BMX Racing National Championships, held in Perth late last year.

AusCycling Executive General Manager: Sport Kipp Kaufmann said sustainability and quality were key factors when deciding who to partner with.

“Cycling and riding takes place in the natural environment and sustainability is a key consideration for our communities,” Kaufmann said.

“And there’s a lot to love about the awards themselves. Big, heavy, great design. We’ve had a lot of feedback from the athletes. They look professional and come in a great box.

“It’s probably the first time we’ve had universal positive feedback.”

Badges And Medals chief executive officer Hamish Larsen said the partnership was a perfect match.

“AusCycling is an incredible organisation, and we’re honoured to create awards that reflect the dedication and passion of their athletes,” Larsen said.

Badges And Medals already makes medals for Surf Life Saving Australia, FIBA, the Los Angeles Marathon and the Melbourne Marathon.
