NSW/ACT State Road Series- Round 1: Hayman Classic

  • Road

Prepare to test your mettle at the 2026 Hayman Classic, Canberra’s premier road racing event, returning on April 12, 2026. Named in honor of Paris-Roubaix legend and local hero Mathew Hayman, this race is a brutal, beautiful homage to the Spring Classics. Competitors will face a grueling 16km circuit that demands both tactical brilliance and raw grit, featuring 240m of elevation gain and a punishing 5km sector of dirt on every single lap. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or an aspiring local, this is a race of attrition where the "always keep riding" mantra is a requirement, not a suggestion. Dust off your cobble-crushing skills, double-check your tire pressure, and get ready to fight for the hallowed Uriarra Granite Trophy in the ultimate test of rider and machine.
