Communique – update for Goulburn Junior Tour (2^nd and 3^rd May 2026)

Thanks to all the competitors and parents for their attendance at the 2026 Goulburn Workers 2 Day Goulburn Junior Tour.

We appreciate your understanding and patience with the race organisation and Commissaires with the issues with the results - this was due to a significant failure of the transponders and poor manual timing back-up.

We have decided that the Prologue results will not be included in Final GC or Northwave Junior Series points, as we are not confidence in the accuracy of these results after significant review.

We were both committed to providing safe race conditions to all categories across the 2 days, an appreciate all volunteers who made for safe racing. With racing complete we are now working to have Stage results for Stage 2, 3 and 4 release later today/tomorrow and GC and Northwave series results release in the coming day or two.

This event is the first round of the Northwave NSW/ACT Junior Road Series for 2026! 

Riders (U13 - U17) will be able to collect points throughout the rounds which will total up to determine an overall winner after 5 rounds of competitive racing!

Juniors.

All entrants must hold a current, valid AusCycling Race All Discipline Membership.

General Information

Separate events for Under 9 and 11 boys and girls if numbers permit 

Ample parking will be available in the designated parking area adjacent to the start/finish location, no parking on roadway 

Spares will be available for U15 & U17 age categories, road races only. Wheel changes will only be provided to riders who provide spares 

It is strongly advised to bring warm clothing as weather could be cool.
