DGV Sprint Grand Prix

  • Track

Sprint GP Information

The Sprint Grand Prix is structured to ensure close competition among all entrants, regardless of age or gender, with everyone competing in the same field. This event is designed to give riders of all skill levels the chance to race against opponents with similar speeds, helping them refine their track sprinting skills.

The day begins with an electronic timed Flying 200m, where riders are seeded into groups based on their Flying 200m time. This time will seed the riders into groups of 4 and will also act as the tie-breaker (Flybreaker Rule) wherever required.

Once the seeding is complete, the round-robin phase begins, with each rider facing all other competitors in their group. The results from these races will be used to reseed the riders for the finals.

In the Round Robin Finals, the top two riders in each group will compete for 1st and 2nd place, while the remaining two will compete for 3rd and 4th, determining the final rankings within each group.

Time: Warm up from 12pm, Racing starts at 1pm.
