Cairns Rainforest Rumble returns to Smithfield Mountain Bike Park from Thursday 30 September to Sunday 3 October 2027.
Set in Australia’s mountain bike capital, the four-day event brings cross-country and downhill racing back to one of the country’s most respected and recognisable riding destinations.
Smithfield’s technically demanding rainforest trails provide a serious test of speed, precision and bike control, with racing across Cross-Country Olympic, Short Track and Downhill disciplines.
Alongside the headline racing, participation and community events will give more riders the chance to experience the trails, atmosphere and riding culture that make Cairns a bucket-list mountain bike destination.
Whether you’re lining up to race, supporting from trackside or turning the weekend into a tropical riding escape, come and experience the Cairns Rainforest Rumble in Australia’s mountain bike capital.
