2027 Boost Mobile Australian Mountain Biking Interschools

The 2027 Boost Mobile Australian Mountain Biking Interschools returns to Thredbo MTB Park from Monday 1 to Friday 5 March 2027, hosted by Thredbo.

It’s a full week of riding, racing and good vibes with school friends from all over. Go solo or team up and take on your favourite events, from the RockShox Downhill and Fox Flow to the Specialized All-Mountain and Maxxis Pump Track.

Whether you’re an enduro specialist, a pump track master or a downhill demon, there’s an event to suit every rider, ability and style.

Registrations for this event are coming soon.

Participation and entries

Students enter one of five divisions based on their school year at the time of the event, so riders race alongside others at a similar stage of school. Divisions 3, 4 and 5 race from Monday to Wednesday, while Divisions 1 and 2 race from Wednesday to Friday.

Registration details and entry fees will be available on the event website once registrations open. Parents and school coordinators can find everything they need to get riders to the start line on the same site.

Riders are reminded that anti-social behaviour, or riding the MTB park after hours, will result in a ban from future Thredbo MTB events and the disqualification of their school from the competition.

Membership and insurance

All riders must hold a current AusCycling Race Membership or purchase an Event Licence that is valid for the full duration of the event. A race licence is required, not a recreational licence. The event is conducted under the AusCycling Member Protection Policy.

If you’re planning to compete across several Interschools events, a yearly Race Membership or 7-day licence is recommended. Click here for further information about membership and licences.
