2027 AusCycling Observed Trials National Championships

Balance, precision and bike control take centre stage at Mt Stromlo.

Balance, precision and bike control take the spotlight at the 2027 AusCycling Observed Trial (OT) National Championships at Mt Stromlo MTB Park from Saturday 20 to Sunday 21 February.

Hosted by Canberra Off Road Cyclists, the Championships will bring Australia’s leading trials riders to Wright in the ACT to compete for the green and gold jersey.

Riders will be tested across a series of demanding obstacles, where careful line choice, control and consistency can make the difference between a clean ride and costly points.

Held alongside Rounds 3 and 4 of the AusCycling XCO National Series, the Championships form part of an awesome weekend of mountain bike racing at one of Australia’s most iconic venues.

Entries open in November 2026 and close in February 2027.

Age Categories & Eligibility

Riders for all categories must meet the criteria below.

  • Born on or before 01/01/2014. Minimum 13 years old as at 31/12/2027. Riding up is not permitted.
  • Hold a current and valid AusCycling Race membership, Club membership or Day Licence

Eligibility AusCycling Race membership is required to enter this event. Get a Race membership
