2027 AusCycling MTB National Championships | Tasmania

Australia’s best cross-country and downhill riders will head to Glenorchy, Tasmania, to chase national titles at the 2027 AusCycling MTB National Championships.

Across five days of championship racing, riders will compete for the coveted green and gold jersey across Downhill, Cross-Country Olympic and Short Track disciplines.

Every climb, descent and technical section will demand skill, grit and commitment as Junior, Under 23, Elite, Masters and Adaptive riders test themselves on Tasmania’s world-class mountain bike trails.

Whether you’re chasing a national title, stepping up to the National Championships for the first time or supporting Australia’s best from the sidelines, get ready for five huge days of racing in one of the country’s most spectacular mountain bike destinations.

Age Categories & Eligibility

The event will be conducted under AusCycling and UCI regulations.

Riders must hold a valid AusCycling Race membership, or a current UCI licence issued by their national federation.

Temporary memberships are not permitted.
International riders may compete but are not eligible for Australian Championship titles or jerseys.
Riders must complete on-site registration before participating in any official sessions.
