Coach and Instructor Remit

Coaching and OfficiatingExisting Coaches

As an AusCycling Coach or Instructor, you play an important role in fostering a safe and positive learning environment for all participants. To make sure you're delivering coaching within your scope of practice and participants are receiving instruction appropriate for their skill level, we require you to operate under your discipline-specific remit

Each discipline-specific remit outlines:

  • Group size ratios: The maximum number of participants you can coach or instruct at once.
  • Skill sets you're qualified to teach: The specific cycling skills and techniques you can introduce and develop based on your accreditation level.

Understanding your discipline remit is important for delivering effective coaching and maintaining insurance coverage under AusCycling. Explore the resources below to learn more about your specific discipline's remit.
