Two Weeks Until the Mackay Mad MTB Classic

The MAD MTB Classic is held at Rowallan Park just north of Mackay, Queensland from Friday 28th May to 30th May 2021.

The event consists of two days of racing on two separate cross-country courses, which include mostly flowing single-track with copious amounts of features, both natural and man-made.

Each course is four kilometers in length and has about 150m of climbing and descending per lap.

The event is rated a UCI Cat 2 for Elites and Under 19s, and is part of the AusCycling Mountain Bike National Cup as a Tier One for all other age group categories.

This year the MAD Crew have thrown in an event for the little guys and girls with an under 8s race as well as a club nd E-bike category.

These extra categories are also both days and two separate, modified courses.

Entries close just before midnight May 26th .
