Expressions of Interest for Cyclo-Cross State and National Events will open later in the year.
AusCycling welcomes Expressions of Interest (EOI) from State/Territory Governments and Local Councils who would like to host an event, including a Nationals Series/Cup round, a State or Territory Championships, or a State or Territory Series round. These funding partners should liaise with their local club or an appropriate event organiser when considering supporting an event opportunity.
Please view the Event Prospectus for more details on the opportunities available in 2022.
Should any State/Territory Governments or Local Councils wish to submit an EOI or have any further questions, please email [email protected].
The EOI process is where clubs and event organisers can submit an application to host a 2022 event. This process allows AusCycling to gather all necessary information in order to determine who will host events in 2022. This process minimises the time requirements for clubs and event organisers by not requiring them to provide a separate EOI and application.
The EOI process will close at 12pm (AEST), Monday, 16 August 2021. Any submissions received after this date may not be considered.
AusCycling will review the submissions received and look to confirm the hosts and dates for each of the events listed above by early September.
Any affiliated AusCycling Clubs or Event Organisers may submit an EOI.
AusCycling will provide feedback to those Clubs/Organisations who are not selected, to advise where their submission may have fallen short or areas they can improve upon in order to be considered for future hosting opportunities.
