State Competition

Following on from the popularity of recent cyclocross (CX) events held at Heffron Park, Randwick Cycling have been awarded host club for the 2023 Cyclocross State Championships.

The Championships, held on Sunday, 23 July, will take in new obstacles with new grass and sand areas included throughout the parklands.

We encourage all those with an interest in CX, to pack your bike, fold out your camp chair and picnic rug, and get down to Heffron and be part of the biggest CX race in NSW this year.

The race structure will follow state championship regulations with women, men, juniors each separated into JU13, JU15, JU17, JU19, U23, ELITE, then MA1-10 age categories. Categories will be raced as a combined format to ensure a competitive racing schedule, tentatively outlined at https://www.randwickcc.com.au/racing/events/2023/7/23
