Lidcombe-Auburn Cycle Club (LACC) is a 100-year-old club that focuses on road and track racing and riding.

Located in Sydney’s inner west, it currently has around 300 members who proudly wear the black and gold kit at races and rides all around Australia.

LACC’s track at Lidcombe is one of only three outdoor velodromes in Sydney and regularly runs training and racing at the track. LACC members also represent the club in both junior and senior ranks at club, state and national level.

On the road racing scene, LACC runs both winter and summer racing at different venues in the local area. The Armory at Sydney Olympic Park has proved a very popular venue for LACC members and other local clubs to compete. In winter LACC utilises criterium tracks located at Lansdowne and Bass Hill. In past years the club has raced at other local venues like Concord, Homebush, Horsley Park and more.

LACC has a well-run, results-oriented junior program for both track and road cycling. Many of the club’s junior riders have won multiple state and national competitions. But also encourages kids of all abilities to join the ranks to enjoy the joys of cycling.

Many of our members attend the regular bunch rides run by the club. This includes laps around Sydney Olympic Park on most weekday mornings, and weekend rides to various locations around Sydney.

LACC is also very proud of the growth it’s seen in women’s participation. The club runs regular women’s rides which has seen female membership rise from around five per cent in 2013 to around 13 per cent now. Female members are also represented at racing on the track and road.

Above all, LACC is a tightknit community of cyclists who live and breathe the motto – Staying True.
