Can The Purple Patch Continue?

Aussie riders are straight back into the thick of the UCI Mercedes-Benz World Cup racing this weekend this time at one of the most technical tracks, Nove Mesto na Morave in the Czech Republic.

The spotlight will be shining brightly on Rebecca McConnell (Primaflor Mondrakder Genuins) after her outstanding race at Albstadt, with wins in the elite women XCC and XCO.

McConnell will wear the white leader's jersey for the second straight week as she heads to a venue which has always favored the Canberra rider having podiumed there the past three years.

In the elite men, Daniel McConnell and Cameron Ivory will be out to improve upon first up World Cup performances.

Four Aussies will line up in the Under 23 race.

Sam Fox (Team Bridgelane) produced a sensational ride last weekend to finish 13th his best ever result at a World Cup.

Along with Fox, Domenic Paolilli, Tom Cheesman and Isaac Fletcher will go bar to bar in the massive U23 field.

While in U23 women Zoe Cuthbert has another opportunity to better her 17th place finish and will be joined by Katherine Hosking, Izzy Flint and Holly Lubcke.
