To support the new Commissaire and Coach pathways the AusCycling education team have released two new courses through the e-learning platform.

The Community Instructor (CI) course is the entry point to the AusCycling (AC) Coach and Instructor pathway, providing participants with a foundation knowledge of cycling and it’s disciplines as well as the roles and responsibilities of an AusCycling instructor.

--On completion, the AC member can assist a coach or instructor across any discipline. Members can also complete two further modules including the BMX Mini Wheeler module, which develops instructing skills on balance bikes and the BMX Track school teacher module, which accredits qualified school teachers to lead BMX sessions for school children at an AC affiliated track.

The second course to be released is the BMX Club Official course which provides accreditation to become officials at BMX clubs. The course forms part of the AC Commissaire pathway and develops skills and knowledge for BMX officials.

Both courses are fully completed online.
