Course Information

The National Level Commissaire course is an advanced course for Commissaires who want to officiate at National Events and Championships.  The course is conducted in conjunction with select MTB events and provides training and information on the finer points of officiating at the National level.

This course has both theory and practical components associated with it.  

A minimum level of 2 years of experience as a Regional Commissaire including demonstrated experience acting as a Principal of the Commissaire Panel at State Level events and experience at National Level Events is required to apply to undertake this course.

Please note: To attend the course, you MUST:

  • Be an AusCycling financial membership to register. 

  • Hold a State/Regional BMX Commissaire with a minimum of 2 years experience and demonstrated capability as a PCP.  

  • Be familiar with the AusCycling Technical Regulations - General and AusCycling Technical Regulations - BMX  

  • Have a current Working with Children check relevant for the state/territory in which you will Commissaire

  • Other requirements will be notified in due course
