AusCycling knows our sport thrives due to the efforts of our many volunteers. Volunteering brings people together; it builds communities and creates a better society for everyone.
A volunteer is anyone who undertakes a role at a club, at events or within the community that is unpaid or is only paid for expenses incurred.
To celebrate the commitment and impact of volunteers, we are launching a National Volunteer Recognition Program. Additionally, thanks to the support of our partners, effective immediately, non-riding memberships will be free of charge* for volunteers.
* Whilst the AusCycling fee has been removed, Club fees will remain the jurisdiction of individual Clubs therefore any contribution will go directly to Clubs. |
Our clubs, communities and members rely on the outstanding attributes that our volunteers bring to the sport. These include reliability, excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to learn quickly, decision-making and problem-solving.
If you know of an AusCycling member who is a volunteer and possesses these or other great qualities, someone with a history of commitment or somebody who is a great local fixture, why not put them forward for this special recognition?
Please refer to the information below to nominate a person who encompasses all the attributes of a great volunteer within the AusCycling community. The portal is now open and accepting nominations.

Please note: The new AusCycling National Volunteer Recognition Program runs separately to the existing Meritorious and Service awards.
